We just received our Seminole County Property Tax bill and it is again going up more than 3%. This is the 3rd year in a row that they have risen, even though our property values have plummeted. The County Managers and Commissioners continue wasting millions of our tax dollars on un-necessary projects while the taxpayers and Charlie Crist have NO CONTROL over it...MILLIONS were wasted this year widening Upsala Road by Lake Monroe - which never has much traffic and even more by replacing perfectly good drainage pipes and re-paving Orange Bl. which also was fine as it was. Our Millage Rates will continue to rise and more foreclosures will come as long as the corrupt County Commissioners continue wasting our money on useless projects!
Property Tax increases while home values decrease and not enough good paying jobs = More FORECLOSURES and less money to the Counties.
My Property Taxes:
2007 - $4,478.41
2008 - $4,526.01
2009 - $4,692.23
Plus the continued 1% additional sales tax in Seminole County...
Where are our Individuals Tax Cuts Shown above?????

What will it take to finally stop the wasteful county government spending????
Perhaps real investigations to where our tax money is really going...
